Menu for Hope IV

Menu For Hope is an annual raffle, now in its fourth year, to raise money for worthy causes. This year's beneficiary is the United Nations World Food Programme, in particular we’ll support a school lunch program in Lesotho.
The money raised will be collected by Unicef via the First Giving website, between December 11 until 21. The european host for this event is Fanny of Foodbeam, and the overall host and originator of this wonderful event is Pim of Chez Pim. Last year the raffle was successful, no less than $60,000 was raised for UNICEF. We all hope to do better this year.

As I am a new food blogger, I am very happy to partecipate to this campaign and so excited to join a team of many more food bloggers who are going to support the event by donating prizes.

We are lucky to be able to eat what we like and write about food. So many people cannot. Our little gesture can help.

The prize I donate

My contribution to the raffle is “Confidences Sucrées”, the beautiful new cookbook by Pierre Hermè and Julie Andrieu.
Just put togheter Julie ‘s simplicity and the ingenious perfectionism of one of the best pastry chefs of the world.. how can it be not perfect? It's a lovely collection of good recipes for “sweet addicted”.
The code for this prize is EU26 so, if you like it, make sure you include it when you make the donation.

So, what do you need to know if you want to support Menu fot Hope 4?

1. Decide what you want to buy tickets for. Check Pim's blog for the complete list of the prizes, and Fanny's for a detailed list of the prizes contributed by europeans.

2. Go to the donation page and read all the rules.

3. Make your donation. By donating a minimum of US$10 you will enter one virtual raffle to win a wonderful prize of your choice. Please specify which prize you’d like in the donation form when confirming your donation. The code for my prize is EU26.

4. Check back on Chez Pim on January 9th for the results of the raffle.

Thank you so much for all your precious support!

[Piccola nota in italiano]

Kalyn: I really hope so!
